The results of a study conducted in New Zealand suggest the risk of prostate cancer is increased among men who have been married for a long time, men who have married only once, and those who are still married when they’re diagnosed.
The researchers note that it is not apparent that there is a biological reason for the association.
The study also found that men taller than 5’7” by age 20 also have a higher risk of developing prostate cancer later in life than shorter men.
